ABOUT MOI aka

Hey! Im Scarlet (she/her), a London-based graphic designer originally from Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. I enjoy using analog methods in my design work such as collage, lino printing and sewing within my design work: merging the traditional processes with the new and improved modern and technological processes. A lot of my major projects surround my love of the South African and Zulu cultures I grew up with.

I’ve previously worked with clients such as Miraval (Brad Pitt’s wine company) and the Wellcome Collection both in my degree and outside on live briefs. 

As of July 2025, I have graduated from UAL: (University of the Arts London) with a BA in Graphic Design, and am hoping to pursue a masters (part time) at Goldsmiths University in MA Art & Politics. 

I want my work to mean something to the regular joe public, hence why I complete a majority of my projects surrounding political or social themes occuring at the time of their creation. I think design is, in itself, a way of protesting and I use my work to show my voice.
